The sale of these properties will bring in billions of dollars and, with that, millions of dollars in commissions for the one Company that is in charge of handling the sale and negotiation of the new leases.

What makes this such a matter of concern to me is that Richard Blum owns the Company that the Government has contracted with to conduct the sales (and the corresponding leases for the new locations of the displaced post offices).

What?  The name Richard Blum does not mean anything to you. Maybe I should re-phrase and say the person who owns the company that is solely in charge of this multi -million- dollar transaction is Richard Blum.  He is an investment banker and he is the husband of United States Senator from California Dianne Feinstein. Wikipedia

Just another example of why our country is in such bad shape.  It is being run (from the top down) by such crooked people that we maynever again be able to enjoy a free democracy.  It is not what is best for the country but what is best to line “their” pockets and get enough “illegal” votes to be elected.
